Below is a selection of our wide variety of clients, from racing to refurbs and customised vehicles. All of which we’ve helped meet their goals and requirements to a quick and quality standard of service. Take a look and see why they use AET.

At AET, we are often entrusted with turbochargers that represent important moments in motorsport engineering. Recently, we were tasked with an especially unique challenge - recreating a BorgWarner (KKK) Eberspächer EB/3K ball bearing turbocharger, originally used on the legendary Porsche 934/935 racing cars.
Last year, AET had the opportunity to restore and remanufacture a pair of TD04-11G-6.0 turbochargers for a customer’s 1990 Mitsubishi 3000GT (GTO) - one of the most technologically ambitious Japanese performance cars of its era.
In 2025, AET undertook the remanufacture of a Garrett GT40 Billet based hybrid turbocharger for a specialist customer’s Mercedes-Benz C11, one of the most successful Group C prototype race cars ever built.
This BorgWarner K27 turbocharger was recently remanufactured by AET for a customer specialising in earth-moving machinery.
Originally paired with the Paxman 8RPHC V8 diesel engine, this Holset Model 6 (53842) turbocharger dates back to 1971 and was recently restored by AET.
AET completed a K27 turbocharger upgrade for a specialist customer’s Porsche 934/5, one of the most distinctive and celebrated competition cars from Porsche’s Group 4 and Group 5 racing era.
This original Schwitzer 3LD-229 turbocharger, historically fitted to a 6.6 ltr diesel engine, dates back to 1969 and was recently restored at AET for a customer who owns one of the era’s most capable agricultural machines - the Ford 9700.
Built for reliability in demanding marine environments, the Volvo Penta TAD16 series features a 16.1-litre, in-line six-cylinder diesel engine engineered for commercial displacement craft and other heavy-duty applications.
This month, AET was entrusted with the restoration of a K26 BorgWarner KKK Turbolader turbocharger from a 1980 Porsche 924 Carrera GT. A homologation special developed to satisfy Group 4 racing regulations, the 924 Carrera GT bridged the gap between road and competition car.
In 2025, we have had the privilege of working with a specialist customer to restore a K36 KKK Turbolader from a Porsche 911 Carrera RSR (1974).
This year, we have had the privilege of working on some truly special turbochargers, and this one is no exception. It is a genuine piece of motorsport history: a KKK Turbolader K27 turbocharger from this 1982 Audi Quattro A1 Group B works car.
This stunning 1979 Porsche 924 Turbo is a classic rally car with a unique place in automotive history.
