The Land Rover Freelander was produced between 1997 and 2014 and has since been replaced by the Discovery Sport. The second generation Freelander, produced from 2006 onwards, was available with a range of 2.2L Diesel engines, or a choice of a 2.0L or 3.2L Petrol engines.
