The Toyota Avensis has been in production since 1997 and is now in the 3rd generation where it is built at the Toyota plant in Derbyshire. The current post 2009 model has been available with an array of engines ranging from 1.6L – 2.0L in the petrol variants, and 2.0L – 2.2L in the diesel counterpart.
