BMW Replacement Turbo
BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) originally made train brakes and retrofitting engines after World War 1. In 1922 BMW sold both its engine production and its name to Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (BFW) and moved into BFW’s factory. BMW also then assumed BFW’s founding date of 7th March 1916.
